Benefit Concert

The aim of this project was to help a little boy named Svetloslav, who had paralysis on one of his feet. He needed treatment abroad, but his family couldn't afford such an operation.

One of my friends told me his story and suggested to make a team and do something to help the family. So we decided to make a benefit concert to raise money. It was really hard, especially because we were just high school students and it was our first time organizing an event as important as this.

City hall supported us by giving a stage. After that, we started looking for people who can perform. The organization took around a month of preparation and a couple of weeks for promotions. I was in charge of making posters, tickets, and flyers, but also for looking for people to take part in the event.

Even though it was quite a challenge for us, we made another concert in a different city this time. We end up with enough money. We are really happy that we had the opportunity to help this little boy. 

​

For the first time, I used my graphic design skills for good cause. To be honest, it was really beneficial for me in order to see what a real-life work experience is.
